What is your medium and process?
For this show, I used ink, gouache, acrylic and marker on bristol board. But, my process is secret.

Where are you from?
A majestic farmland to the south and the west where waves of wheat encourage surfing your imagination

How did you get started?
I just started. I just did it, always just did it, always will.

How would you describe your latest body of work?
An exercise in meta-depression or the secret history of consciousness. The blue guy stitched together in the jumper could represent mindfulness while the flamingos could be variations of reality...

What inspires you?
I really enjoy music (strictly electronic), reading (mostly religious stories and scientific studies) & packing bags. I just try to be open and receptive because it could be anything at every time and everything at any time.

What is one of your favorite pieces of art, film, or literature?
Frank Belknap Long's "The Hounds of Tindalos" which is a collection of fantasy, horror and science fiction short stories. I read that and periodically look up a cheap unframed poster copy of Felix Vallotton's "Femmes Leur Toilette" circa 1897. I enjoy the mind juxtaposition.

What are your goals for the future?
I want to fundamentally shift the way we not only teach but perceive education in this country. I also want to implement a mandatory annual government funded travel program. Passports are mandatory! Visiting a foreign country that you may or may not fear is required on an annual basis!

What advice do you have to artists?
Education and travel as much as you can.
